Charlie Agar is passionate about filmmaking and storytelling, and he brings energy and a deep well of experience to every project.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., Charlie started his movie making career behind the lens of a Super 8 camera during high school. He spent two years studying film at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University before earning an undergraduate degree and later Masters in English.
Years of teaching abroad and travel led to a career as a guidebook writer in Southeast Asia, then a newspaper reporter in Aspen, Colorado, before meeting and marrying the love of his life and following her newspaper career from Winter Park, CO to New Braunfels, TX and now Twin Falls, Idaho, his new home base for Your-Documentary.Com and other projects.
Charlie won two 2010 Texas Press Association awards for web videos he shot for the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung newspaper and a short film he made in 2008 was accepted at the prestigious Aspen ShortsFest.
Clients include Winter Park Resort, the National Sports Center for the Disabled, the Sister Cities Committee of the City of New Braunfels, and McKenna Events Center.
